Watermelon Coconut Lime Protein and Fiber Smoothie
Summer is here and we are ready for tasty + healthy treats like this one. Coconut and watermelon? Yup, we're here for it.
This drink is a summertime household favorite and it's perfect for everyone.
It contains fiber and protein in it, so you can even substitute it in place of a meal for weight management.
Ingredients
1 Scoop NB Pure Plant Protein+ powder.
1 Teaspoon of NB Pure Coconut Lime Daily Multi Fiber powder.
1 pack of frozen coconut pack (I find mine at Whole Foods and Trader Joes)
4 cups cubed watermelon, frozen
2 tablespoons of lime juice
1 tablespoon of honey (optional)
1/2 cup of coconut water
Instructions
- In a small cup, mix together the lime juice and honey until the honey dissolves.
- In a blender, add all the ingredients. Mix until smooth. You may need to pulse because this is a thicker smoothie.
- Enjoy!
Notes
*To make it more liquidy, add another 1/2 cup of coconut water)
*Add more honey to adjust sweetness for your personal taste.
*Also, for a fun frozen cocktail, add in a shot of vodka!
