As the CEO of NBPure and a busy mom, I get asked this all the time: “How do you stay so clear-headed and full of energy every day?”
The answer? My morning routine.
It’s my anchor—my way to reset, recharge, and start strong. You don’t have to be a CEO to build a powerful routine. These simple daily habits help support energy, mood, digestion, and mental clarity, naturally.
If you’ve been looking for a healthy morning routine that’s actually doable, here’s exactly what I do and why it works.

Before coffee, before emails—hydration comes first. I drink a tall glass of water with fresh lemon to rehydrate and kickstart my digestion.
Tip: Add a pinch of sea salt for added electrolytes if you’ve been sweating or feel sluggish.
If you need more of an electrolyte boost, try our Performance Hydration+ with all 5 essential electrolytes plus vitamins B12 and C and BCAAs or our Hawaiian Hydration with 5 essential electrolytes and the gut-friendly prebiotic inulin.

Just a few light stretches help wake up your body and improve circulation. I like to start with a seated toe touch, cobra stretch, or cat-cow flow.

Even 5 to 10 minutes outside in natural light can reset your circadian rhythm (your body’s internal sleep/wake clock) and boost your energy and mood for the rest of the day.
Pro tip: Skip the sunglasses for the first few minutes so your eyes get indirect light exposure.

Whenever I can, I stand barefoot on the grass to connect with the Earth. This practice, called grounding, is shown to reduce stress and inflammation.
Don’t have a yard? A patch of grass at the park or your patio will work too.

You don’t need a full meditation session. Just 1 to 2 minutes of slow, mindful breathing can shift your entire mindset.
Try this: Inhale for 4 counts, hold for 4, exhale for 6. Repeat 5 to 10 times.

Movement is magic. Even a 10 to 20 minute walk in the morning can boost circulation, metabolism, and mood—especially when paired with morning sunshine.
Bonus: Walking also counts as grounding and sunlight time!

I love adding a few minutes of red light therapy in the morning. It’s one of Dr. Andrew Huberman’s top wellness tools—and I’m a believer.
You can find home devices that make this easy and convenient on amazon.

I never skip my morning stack—it’s part of what keeps me feeling sharp and resilient. Here’s my daily supplement routine:
This clean combo boosts endurance, supports recovery, and gives me sustainable energy.
All are clean essentials my body needs—and loves.
This routine didn’t happen overnight. It’s something I’ve fine-tuned over the years by listening to my body and focusing on consistency, not perfection.
Even one new habit can make a difference. Whether it’s drinking lemon water, getting outside, or simply breathing mindfully—start small and build from there.
You deserve to feel energized, clear, and grounded—every day.
