High Fiber and Protein Smoothie
I have a daughter who is absolutely OBSESSED with the color pink, and this smoothie really rocked her pink socks off. She was cruising around the house so excited to be drinking a nutritional smoothie that was her favorite color.
My son, however, - oooh he couldn't stop expressing how good this one tasted. Needless to say, they're hooked.
It can be tough to make sure my school aged kids are getting the protein and fiber they need for the day, but this smoothie really helps.
We prefer to start off every morning with a colorful smoothie and this recipe is packed with taste, color, and excitement.
1 scoop NB Pure Plant Protein+
1 heaping teaspoon of NB Pure Coconut Lime Daily Multi-Fiber
1/2 cup of fresh or frozen pineapple
1 cup of frozen dragon fruit
1/4 cup of Apple Juice
Add ingredients into a high speed blender.
Once mixed to your pleasing, put in a cup or bowl and enjoy!
We topped ours with fresh strawberry, but a kiwi, mango, pineapple, or a banana would've been lovely too!
It's a very easy recipe and one that anyone can do.
Because these ingredients are thicker, feel free to add in a bit more apple juice to make it a touch more liquidy. My kids just prefer smoothies and shakes that are so thick they get to eat it with a spoon!
