Bx3 Spray FAQ

homocysteine is an amino acid that is metabolized in two different ways: remethylation to methionine and transsulfuration to cystathionine. Up to 30% of the population may have genetic issues which prevent them from properly metabolizing homocysteine. When it accumulates, it may cause damage to a variety of smooth muscle cells throughout the body, but it is a modest risk factor.

B vitamins and TMG are proven effective at lowering homocysteine levels over time. The evidence of specific harmful effects is still actively being researched. Today, we know that elevated levels may have an effect on the health of heart blood vessels. With heart disease as prevalent as it is, this makes controlling every risk factor important to consider.

That’s great and we’re glad you are supplementing with B vitamins! We think targeting homocysteine metabolism requires enough B6, B9, and B12. We also believe that TMG should be added to give yet ANOTHER metabolism pathway, particularly for people with MTHFR gene mutations.

B vitamin deficiencies and hyperhomocysteinemia can take a while to build and may go undetected for a long time. When symptoms do appear, they may not be obvious. Over time however, the effects and build up may cause harm to your heart. It’s important to be proactive. Consider having your levels tested by your healthcare provider.

We think sprays are the easiest, most effective way to take vitamins. Easier than taking multiple capsules, a spray delivers an efficacious dose directly to areas of the body that may absorb faster than in the stomach. If you haven’t tried a vitamin spray, consider making bx3 your first!
